This one of a kind, larger sea inspired sculpture is made using a rock found on an Irish shore and slip-casting method. Inside this pure white porcelain piece is a hand-built chair representing a person is surrounded by transparent glaze and splashes of sea blue glass. The interplay between the glaze and light generates beautiful reflections from two viewing points. Outside is unglazed with surface texture from the original stone making it tactile to hold and explore.
